Our story
Born from a personal journey, not a business trend
Cédric, co-founder of Retraite Éveil, lives between the Toulouse region in France and the Netherlands. A father of two children, his sense of responsibility deeply influences everything he builds: structure, safety, long-term thinking, and human impact.
With more than twenty years in entrepreneurship, his path included both success and failure, experiences that forged resilience, humility, and a deep understanding of personal limits.
Yet despite all experience and reflection, there came a moment of profound personal difficulty, a period where no solution seemed possible, no matter the effort or mindset.
Through a guided magic truffle experience in the Netherlands, something shifted. This experience brought clarity where confusion had lived, perspective where fear existed, and meaning where there had been stagnation.
From that moment, it became clear that this experience should not remain personal. It deserved a serious, structured, and responsible framework, designed to serve others.
Shortly before launching the project, Damien joined the journey. With complementary international entrepreneurial experience and a shared vision of integrity, responsibility, and human-centered design, he became a foundational part of Retraite Éveil.
Together, their values shaped what Retraite Éveil is today: a professional psychedelic retreat organization in the Netherlands, built on ethics, structure, and respect, not trends or spectacle.
